Correction

Last time out, in Hands Off My Honourable Members!, Eddie Cornwallis stated that taxpayers paid $1,432.44 to repair the HVAC at Scott Brison’s secondary home in Ottawa. In fact, those repairs were undertaken at the Treasury Board president’s Wolfville constituency office. Frank (and Eddie) regret the error.

Dear Frank:
The Nova Scotia Liberal government announced that the abortion pill will be more widely available across the province starting next month.
The two-drug combination to terminate an early pregnancy after up to a 63-day gestation period might just fly off the shelves at Shoppers and Lawtons and Costco, where maybe there’ll be a bulk deal.

Doc Vibert's shocking jogging death

As a follow-up to the letter to the editor regarding Truro’s Dr. J.C. Vibert that appeared in Frank 790 (Catching Up With Ol’ Joe Murray, by Mara Thonner), the father of Herald columnist Jim Vibert died in a tragic accident in 1977, just two years after writing that dispatch about Joe Murray in the N.S. Medical Bulletin.
