Annapolis dumps deal on compost heap

 
Something smells. It should be garbage but it’s not.
Annapolis County has officially given notice to pull out of a deal that would have seen all compost collected from the Valley processed at a facility in Colchester County. The notice was confirmed by county CAO John Ferguson, who says he couldn’t speak to anything else about the deal.

Ye take the low road an' I'll take the high road... to China

Personally, I’m not a big fan of the bagpipe. But the powers that be in China apparently are. 
A plan is in the works to ship Annapolis County musicians over to Quzhou, China to help celebrate the birthday of the philosopher Confucius. County CAO John Ferguson and Warden Tim Habinsky say our cousins in the Far East will be footing the bill.
