Back in the spring, I laid out what I thought was a pretty good case for why I should be the city’s new Poet Laureate; I’m cool (or sick, as the kids say), I know words (planter, wallet, tachometer), I read (Vonnegut, Ghost Rider comics, bus schedules) and I look pretty good in a golf shirt and a ball hat.
